Chung chi college had been having religious education and theological training as part of the academic programme since 1957 ; but starting 1962 , before joining the chinese university of hong kong , the theological training was separately organized as chung chi theological seminary 一九六二年，当崇基学院尚未加入中文大学时，神学教育之责，乃由当时独立组成之崇基神学院担任，崇基神学院与崇基学院保持密切良好之关系。
